Scrappy Hour Mosaics

All the fun of my Mosaic Surfboard Workshop, in a smaller package!

Love the idea of making a mosaic, but don't have the time to hunt down a surfboard—or the wall space to display one? Scrappy Hour is for you!

I'm taking all the colorful, creative fun of my popular Mosaic Surfboard Workshop and scaling it down to a more manageable size. These mosaics may be smaller than surfboards, but they’ve still got the WOW factor. Each is built on an 18" x 24" panel (the “scraps” left over from my own larger pieces) and then framed, for a bold, statement-making piece.

In this 3-hour class, you’ll dive into a generous assortment of gorgeous materials: sparkling fire glass, frosted sea glass, capiz shells, colored sand, stones in every shape and size, wood slices, and plenty more. All the materials you’ll need, including a sleek but sturdy black frame, are included in the course.

Go abstract, geometric, coastal, whimsical—whatever makes you happy. Choose from one of the existing designs on the Mosaic Surfboard page or bring me an idea, and I'll help you turn it into a one-of-a-kind work of art. No experience needed.

And because the workshop is called Scrappy Hour, you can bet there will be snacks and drinks, too.

Pricing:

The Scrappy Hour class is $150 per person. (And the ‘hour’ actually lasts three hours, not one.)

Please hit the “book” button on this page to see available dates, and reserve your spot with a $75 deposit, paid by credit card. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another workshop date with at least one week's notice. The remaining $75 balance is due two days before class and may be paid via Venmo.
